These rabbit name tags can be laminated and clipped to the outside of each cage. We usually have around 40 rabbits (breeders and grow-outs). Keeping all their names and pedigrees straight can be a tricky business.
A lot of folks use cage tags on their carriers when taking rabbits to shows. I thought it would be helpful to have some to use here on the homestead as well. I like to talk to the rabbits by name when I check on them.
Having the rabbit’s age and gender visible is also a good reminder of when a rabbit is ready to be bred or sold. And when are sold and going to new owners, I clip these tags on the carrier so there’s no need to fuss with tattoos and the new owners can easily tell who’s who.
